FLA X SORK

FLA X SORK brings the imagination of Alex Cyr SORK into a Fondation Labs artist collection. Born in Québec City, SORK works across illustration, graphic design, painting and graffiti, creating images that reward a closer look.

His visual world moves between surreal scenes, dark humour and vivid colour. An image can feel playful at first, then reveal a more unsettling or reflective mood. Storytelling and emotion are central to his approach, leaving room for viewers to find their own meaning.

SORK’s practice also extends to murals and live painting. His portfolio includes work presented during Québec City’s Carrefour international de théâtre in 2024, connecting his imagery with a shared, public experience.
